INFRAME: A Bold Expression of Modern Architectural Living

In today’s evolving architectural landscape, homes are no longer just places to live—they are experiences. The InFRAME project stands as a striking example of how contemporary architecture can seamlessly blend functionality, aesthetics, and emotional connection within a single space.

The Concept: Living Together, Independently

At the heart of InFRAME lies a powerful idea: balancing togetherness with privacy. The design carefully separates the home into two distinct volumes. The ground floor serves as a shared, social space for family and guests, while the upper level functions as a more private, independent zone.

Yet, what truly elevates this concept is the integration of a glass volume connecting both masses. This architectural gesture ensures that, despite physical separation, the family remains visually and emotionally connected. It’s not just a structural element—it’s a narrative device.

Architectural Form: Minimalism Meets Impact

The building’s bold geometric form is impossible to ignore. A floating rectangular mass, wrapped almost entirely in glass, creates a dramatic visual statement. The cantilevered upper floor adds a sense of weightlessness, defying gravity while offering shaded space below for parking and entry.

This approach reflects key principles of modern architecture:

  • Clean, sharp lines
  • Open spatial planning
  • Strong emphasis on horizontality
  • Integration of structure and design

The result is a home that feels both minimal and monumental at the same time.

The Power of Transparency

Floor-to-ceiling glazing plays a central role in the design. During the day, it allows natural light to flood the interiors, creating bright, open living spaces. At night, the house transforms into a glowing lantern, revealing silhouettes of life within.

This transparency achieves several things:

  • Blurs the boundary between indoor and outdoor spaces
  • Enhances spatial depth and openness
  • Strengthens the connection to the surrounding environment

INFRAME Uses Glass Not Just As a Material, But As a Tool For Storytelling.

Light, Mood, and Atmosphere

Lighting is treated as an essential architectural element. The warm interior glow contrasts beautifully with the dark, monolithic exterior. This interplay creates a sense of comfort and luxury while emphasizing the structure’s clean lines.

The evening ambiance, combined with reflective surfaces from the surrounding environment, gives the home a cinematic quality—almost like a still frame from a modern architectural film.

Functionality Meets Design

Beyond its visual appeal, the project is highly functional. The elevated upper level maximizes space efficiency while creating covered areas below. Circulation is intuitive, with a clear distinction between public and private zones.

Every design decision serves a purpose:

  • The cantilever provides shelter and visual drama
  • The glass facade enhances both aesthetics and usability
  • The layout supports modern family living

A Statement in Contemporary Architecture

InFRAME is more than just a house—it’s a statement of modern living. It reflects a shift toward designs that prioritize openness, connection, and adaptability without sacrificing privacy.

This project showcases how architecture can shape not only the way we live, but also how we feel within a space.
